sku: 43840 Monica Rich Kosann | This new locket features a row of rose cut rock crystals, and a rectangular shape that's a favorite at the Monica Rich Kosann offices. The back of the locket features a modern chevron pattern for a modern twist. This locket holds two photos and features a 30" fine sterling silver chain. Dating back to the 16th century, rose or rosette-cut diamonds were introduced as one of the first diamond cuts created. Each consisted of triangular facets arranged in a symmetrical radiating pattern, but with the bottom of the stone left flat. We have taken inspiration from the Rose Cut diamond history and introduced this collection of Rose Cut sapphires and rock crystal ‰۪ with faceted face and flat backs. The sapphires, offered in shades blues and yellows, capture the elegance of the sapphire and combine it with a look that can go from everyday to evening.

Each of our Sterling Silver Lockets is reinforced with an element of white gold in the closure. You'll hear a distinct "click" when you shut your locket - a sound that reminds you of the heirloom quality craftsmanship used to create each piece.
