It takes three different gemstones layered on top of one another to achieve the unique beauty and look of these earrings. Each gem is a triplet with three distinct layers. The bottom layer is white mother of pearl giving the iridescent play of color. The middle layer is a thin blue sapphire, producing the dark blue color. The top layer is colorless quartz adding a three dimensional and faceted appearance.
